My dear brothers and sisters,

I am from Manipur and I am happy to hear that some of my families are living far away from our motherland since long time back. Even though our fore fathers are same, it is hard to meet and talk.

Recently I meet a friend from Bangladesh and he talks about the Bishnupriya Manipuris , I feel something in my heart.

Dont forget that you have a brother in Manipur.

hello tengbi gadha, a language doesnt need to have its own script, does it? do hindi, urdu, englosh has its own scripts?

every language can have elements of other languages. assamese has 80% vocabulary of bengali. go to assam and tell , they will deport your back to your mama’s cant.

Dear Ashim I liked your Blog and want to add my Grand Fathers “Dakula” Band Singha & Maitai Singha who fight when partician of Bangladesh. Both the Dakulas fight with muslim in the mouth of Dullabcharra bridge ‘ Singla chara River’ and win the battle and thereby muslim could not capture Dullabcherra, other wise today the Singla would be one part of Bangladesh.

this may not be called as independent language. How a language immitate and borrowed scripts of assamese and bengali be called an Independent Language? Seems like group of selfish people misleading the pure world. SHAME SHAME…

Bishnupriya Manipuri mainly speaks combination of broken assamese, nagamese and manipuri(known meiteilon)….

they use work phang-nase which carries different meaning in manipuri… there are million such cases…

thus BISHNUPRIYA MANIPURI may be called as diluter of ORIGINAL MANIPURI.

Hi all,particularly my metei brethren!

See,we r not here to fight against each other.Nobody is born with asking the Almighty to belong to one or the other community.Some scraps mentioned above have hurt my sentiments.Plz dont use slang words.We live in the 21st century where globalization is the need of the hour.I have many Metei friends and till date we have been sharing a very healthy relation.One should be tolerant to one another’s community and caste.Above all one should have respect for one other.Each community has some aspirations but it should not be attained burying others feelings.
All problems can be solved through mutual discussions in a proper way.Cmn guys ,be tolerant and patient.

You know Aryan are tall white and fair looking European people. But what about you? You are black dull looking ugly people having dirty mindset borrowed from your neighboring Bengali. It is true that your language has some aryan elements that you borrowed from Bengali because you are bastard(no proper origin). Bengali borrowed from Bihari, Bihari borrowed from Pakistani, Pakistani borrowed from Iranian and Iranian from European. Now you are going to borrow from Meetei.
